Kay just called me from the dealership.

She is buying her 2004 PT Cruiser Turbo as I write!

Leather seats and I think she said it is white.

She is beyond excited!

Repak

Another day of Repak. I look forward, as I'm sure many others do, to the drawing for prizes

Storm idenitfied

KC, we can see you are a real expert. You identified exactly. Storm is a rough collie.

We had so much rain yesterday - it was unbelievable. Hope it settles down today.

Have a good week everyone!

Love Sandra

Rough or Smooth?

I hope Nina gives us an answer soon.

Love, Bopcha

Storm

Storm looks like a blue merle rough collie--although he might be a smooth. I can't really tell from his puppy picture. I don't know the breed well enough. Maybe Nina will tell me.

Today at the dog show, my handler set the grooming area up next to the ring where the judges were looking at the various herding breeds, including both the rough and smooths. They were so much fun to watch. I could tell which ones had obedience training because they would watch the owners ever so carefully, looking for a signal or a voice command. Really neat to watch. So.....we finally have a Lassie in the extended family!! The Zoiboyz welcome little Storm to the family.

If all goes well, we'll have puppies coming to the ranch shortly as well--Kazan babies, Ambassador babies, and Nitro babies. Those are our hopes anyway. We know very well how many things can go awry with hopes and plans!!

Lots of love, KC

A collie with a tail

Hello,

Yes indeed he is a collie and he even has a tail. Sid keeps telling me the Picht family is one of german shepard lovers. You would have all loved being at my workplace today at the Veterinary Hospital. We had the ATF dogs all over the building (Alcohol, Tabacco and Firearms) for some type of working dog seminar. Lots of german shepards were around.

But I really do just love the collie. He is so cute. My sister says he is learning what commands mean and he is so good. He is calm and obedient but at the same time loves to play with children. Everytime he sees a child he wags his little tail.

This was a truly insane day at work - all kinds of crazy situations to deal with at work.

I will be heading home soon. If only we could figure out what to feed Sid. He is still puffy around the jaw and can't chew anything yet. I guess we will have to keep with the soup and ice cream.

Have a nice weekend. Will check in again soon.

Love,

Sandra

Storm

Does Storm have a tail?

Love, Bopcha

Storm is adorable. ..

But he can't be a collie! What in the heck kind of dog is he? Really distinctive and intelligent looking.

Sid Survived

Hello All,

I'm happy to report that Sid survived the teeth extraction. The area around his jaw is a bit puffy. He thinks he looks like the "godfather." Only problem is to be any kind of godfather you have to be short! It's recommended that he eat ice cream, so of course that gave me the perfect excuse to buy lots of it and indulge. I was able to find some soup that Sid could eat and somewhat enjoy. I guess the pain was definitely noticeable yesterday, but I think it's a bit better today.

Diana, of course we recognize "someone" in the photo and you look absolutely adorable with your long slender legs. :-)

Wow the weather out there sounds rough. Bopcha I love the way you describe the movement of the clouds and Mary's peak etc... it is actually poetic. I was envisioning what it looks like.

We will definitely have to get some photos of the collie up on the blog. He is such a cute puppy, I would love for all of you to see how he looks right now as a baby. His coat is just gorgeous. He came in to the Vet Hospital for his check up and everyone was fussing over him. He has a funny personality, he is very calm and mostly he just wants to take lots of naps. Nina is doing a good job with him so far.

Well I guess we will be there very soon.

Love,

Sandra

Buster - all dressed up for work

Finally, here's the Buster picture. The first time I posted it, the photo popped up to the right of my new fence photo. So I deleted it.

Saw two of Noah's recreational basketball league games last night. They were glorious! The boys won both games!

Love,

Dee

Tom

Tom is home from Sacremento.

KC has been working long hours.

I have tried some new back exercises. Myback is sore from the new movements.

We. here in Corvallis, have had March weather. Cold, hail, snow, showers and showers. One caN JUST SEE THE big gray clouds rolling over Marys PEAK and marching along at ground level until it gets to my house, and then it just dumps the contents. Then the sun comes out about two minutes, and then another big gray cloud follows.

We read the temperatures in the newspaper, and with the exception of Colorado, you all have warmer temps than me. We are tough though. We can take it.

Love, Bopcha
