Saturday afternoon

Bill watching Derek fix the emergency brake on the Ranger.

Derek at work.

Just for fun, we brought one Ranger load to the woodshed. Didn't make a dent in this massive amount of wood.

Care for a taste anyone? There is an amazing variety of toadstools/mushrooms in the woods.

The creek is low and very clear. Leaves cover the rocks, as you can see.

Saturday morning at the farm

The Highlander looks as if it is ready to do some serious farm work!

There was a deer in the orchard this morning. A tiny bit of mist is what caused the blur in this photo (probably the more likely explanation is that I hadn't had my second cup of Kureg brewed coffee!)

I have no good explanation for why this photo is so blurry.

Trout Mt. field trip in October 2013

The group gathers at the house. See Kay in her cool shades! Noah is in none of these photos, as his iPhone was the camera and he the photographer.

First stop in the deep woods.

Examining the rings on a log.

Out of the deep woods and to the creek.

Mark giving a lecture.

Demo of the mini-helicopter that takes tree photos.
