An Early AM on Saturday
Well Sandra, yes. I can only imagine how horrified Alex would be to have the poem read in class. He'd remember that for a LONG time, I expect. Nonetheless, having something special done like a poem is really cool and a sweet thing for his mom and dad to do.
Meanwhile, although temps were in the low 70s on Thursday, by the time I got home on Friday it was 14 and dropping. Single digits this AM I think. My hunting competition cancelled naturally--not sure either the dogs or I would have had much fun.
So, it's a lazy weekend for me--the sun is coming up, looks like a sunny day to me. Temps are to hit the 50s on Sunday. Maybe a good day for cactus digging?
Sid - I meant to mention: how do the guitar-making workers work in a building with such a slanted floor? I think I'd be so disoriented by day's end that I'd be staggering about like a sailor on his first step on dry land. The least OSHA could do is make the owner level out the building!! And we thought the tower of Pisa leaned. Yikes!
