Phones don't like us anymore

Hello Everyone,

Isn't is crazy with our phone situation. My cell phone and our home phone broke down at the same time. The other night I said to Sid, I hope neither of us have a medical emergency tonight because we sure won't be able to call for help. Thankfully, we both made it. Well now I have a new phone and I am slowly trying to put all my numbers back in. What an ordeal.

Great drawing by Noah. I had no idea he had so much artistic ability. That can not be the first drawing he has ever done. So he must have a lot more for the family to admire :-)

Aren't the puppies adorable? KC and Tom, you are so lucky to be able to hold so many little puppies all the time. That is really great. Nina and Alex would be in heaven if they got to hold all those puppies. By the way, oh god here I go --being the annoying aunt and bragging about my niece and nephew. But I just have to let you know that Alex is quite the "gentleman" (at his ripe age of six). He is always looking out for his big sister. He tries to protect her from getting in trouble with Mommy and Daddy. He consistently defends his"bratty big sister's" behavior. Whatever he has for himself he always makes sure Nina also has it. He is good at sharing it seems. Well that is the behavior for now, perhaps it will change as he gets a little older and gets to "know everything." I think it's a well known fact that when you get to be about 14-15 years of age, you know everything right? To all you parents, you would know a lot more about that then I would.

The other thing I need to brag about is Nina's horseback riding. She ended her riding lessons with a competition. Apparently, she got the award for best control and best performance in trotting. She was so proud of herself and needless to say we were all very proud of her too. She still gets made fun of in school but not as much. Although the other day, she got made fun of in gym class because she was wearing a T-shirt with little horses. I guess that is not cool enough in the "high fashion" world of 5th grade. It irks me to no end, but I suppose that is the way of the world or the world of New Jersey public schools - again with no experience I have no idea what is normal.

Anyway, Phila is an exciting place right now with the anticipation of the Eagles victory on Sunday. We shall see!

We are are having very cold weather here right now - temperatures way below freezing. I can't wait to just get home and get under my nice warm blankets. By the way, I have been working with Sid to try and accept that he is adopted. Just kidding. All things aside, you guys are a pretty good family to end up with as an adopted child.

Judy, I am still really enjoying the goat's milk products you sent me. With my dry skin, it is such a delight.

Hope you are all well.

Love,

Sandra
