TGIF

Hello,

How true Diana that the week did seem really long. I thought it was Friday about three days ago. Wow Kay, you will soon be an Oregonian again. That sounds really nice. I've actually thought that being from Oregon sounded really cool. I mean just compare it to telling people you are from New Jersey. That is almost something you want to hide :-) I heard in a cafe the other day that

"half of the peope who live in New Jersey don't want to live there and the other half wish they lived somewhere else." Isn't that funny?

So Kay your retirement party sounds wonderful. It is so nice to hear that your long-time employer did that for you and I think we all know that it is well deserved. Knowing you, I'm sure you were a very thoughtful and diligent worker. So you will be around when Sid is working away, I will also be there to "help" Sid. I am imagining that it will be lots of fun with you and I helping him out. Hmmm, we will probably be driving him crazy.

Diana, you are so diligent about writing on the blog. We all appreciate it. It's so nice to have you write in because you really keep it going. Thanks!!!

Bopcha, your poem is very touching - it makes me feel quite emotional.

To all of you dog lovers, I just came across this quote. I know KC will love it and so will Kay of course.

"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." ~Unknown~
