Noah is sick
Right after our father's day brunch, I took Noah to the emergency room because his throat was swollen and his tonsils had white blisters on them. They tested him for strep. The quick test was negative (it is 80% accurate - but the more accurate culture takes 2 days). They sent him home with pain pills and told him he had a nasty virus.
On Monday he was worse. Bill took him to our doctor's office. Our doctor said she thought he had strep and maybe mono. She took a blood test and a throat swipe. We should know in a couple of days whether he actually has either of those.
He spent the night at home, and this morning he said he felt a little better but that he kept breaking out in a sweat all night. Anyway, hopefully he is on the mend.
HOWEVER!!! Everybody who has seen Noah lately has been exposed! Watch your health, and I will keep you abreast of developments.
