Hooray for Rain!

Mother, I know you are very, very happy to get some rain. So am I. I was pretty tired of watering our plants every other day. Of course now I am afraid that the lawn will grow and we will have to mow!

Our phone line is on the blitz again. We get so much static/noise that we can't hear anything. This time I called in a repair team (last time the problem cured itself). They are supposed to be out today. It seems to be a problem with the outside line. We followed the troubleshooting guide on the internet and ruled out problems with internal lines, therefore repair should be free. Yea!!!!

The good news is that we repaired our dishwasher ourselves after a week of hand washing. The middle spray arm fell off and (at first) we couldn't find the parts that held it in place. Logic told us the parts should still be in the dishwasher, but we couldn't find them. I ordered parts on line but they were the wrong parts. Bill took one more look and found the original parts lodged under something in the bottom of the dishwasher. Now it is fixed!!!

We are looking forward to our trip to Corvallis. We are leaving at about 3 pm, so we should arrive at 8 pm or so.

Love,

Dee
