Sandra!

Sandra, the Blakney clan was shocked and amused that you have sought medical care from a vet! We would happily follow suit, but in our experience, a trip to the vet is as expensive as a trip to the doc. Plus, since Blakney's tend to be large people, we would have to find a "large animal" vet to treat us. On a more serious note -- take care of those eyeballs of yours. The Picht sibs are completely paranoid about eyes, since our eyesight has always been an issue for us.

We had about 20 trick or treaters last night. They are so - o - o cute. Did Nina and Alex dress up? What as? Noah's girlfriend said Noah dressed up as Steve Urkel.

Noah's team had a closed scrimmage against the University of Portland last Saturday. U. of P. is Division I and we are Div. II. We beat them in a real game last year, and, with Noah playing 6 minutes (HOORAY! He got off the bench), we beat them again this year by 4 points. Nobody was supposed to keep score, but of course the boys did. Since it was a scrimmage there was no audience, but Noah said he felt good playing and his ankle didn't hurt.

Jessica worked really long hours yesterday because the mall was giving out candy to the trick or treaters. She said they were swamped by agressive children and she had to run out to get more candy a couple of times! One little boy was new at the game and so he gave Jessica candy out of his bag at first. Jessica convinced him to take his candy back and select new candy out of her bowl. He thought and thought, finally did it, and then, having gotten the hang of it -- demanded her whole bowl of candy! So cute!

We look forward to Sid coming to Bopcha's for her birthday and his birthday and T-Giving. If we don't go to Colorado (and that depends on whether Noah makes the trip to Colorado with the team, which is iffy -- they take 10 kids out of the 13 healthy players, and Noah may be left behind), we will go to CVO to see Sid and Bopcha.

I have a TON of work. I'd better get to it.

Love to all -

Diana
