Poverty Rock
Mercer Island is nick named Poverty Rock by some people. Mostly because we are an island loaded with fairly wealthy folks. I remember Noah telling me that during a Mercer Island basketball game, one of the opposing players asked Noah what it was like to be rich. Puzzled, Noah responded, "I don't know." Anyway, that is Mercer Island's reputation.
I am so proud of you, Sid and Mother! And so relieved that you can eat at long last!
We are going to church and then making a spot in JB's room (which is a closet now - full of clothes racks) for the single bed we ordered for her yesterday. She's coming home for three days and her brother is back in his room, so she needs a spot to call her own. Plus it will be overflow in case anyone ever visits us.
Sandra, the Storm story was delightful, and KC, the pups are just too too cute. They grow so quickly!
Love,
Dee
