Busy Days
Tom and I are back from the field -- the hounds did pretty well in the show, not placing but recognized by each of the three judges as being in the top half, top half, and top third respectively. The 'boyz got injured early on in the coursing and racing, bringing home only one ribbon by Jazz. With both Tom and me working, our hounds are getting lots of freedom. Of course, Judi kept the home hounds fed, watered, and comfortable in our absence. One of us would have had to stay home from the nationals. As it was, we had a sort of "together vacation" albeit a pretty hard working one.
Naturally, we are worried about Kay's dear eyeball. We are sending lots of healing thoughts and prayers. We're sending healing thoughts to Dee too. Flu can be very very tough to live through.
Tory's home from her adventures with Robert in Costa Rica. I loved reading her blog while I was on the road. I finally found a really good use for my cell phone's ability to connect with the internet.
Sending love to all.
