Summer

The prospect of the Parsons, Mancini, and Picht coming out this summer is so much fun to look forward to. I hope my bridge is up by then. Judi said there were a lot of fish in the creek. I think some were released (fish) down below and have come upstream. Special and Fred will be here and maybe some baby turkeys. I have seen only one hen so far, one turkey hen, that is.

Sid, what happened to the satelite photo of the farm? I would like a printed copy of it.

Love.......Bopcha

Bettye's Schedule FYI

Fred

Kay has a new baby chicken that she hatched in her incubator. It is two days old now, and has been named Fred. Isn't that amazing!!!

I think when Fred grows up a little bit he will come to the farm and be company for Special. I mean, I hope so. Sid, you really started something when you ordered that bunch of chickens.

I was at the farm this morning pulling up Canadian Thistle. I didn't finish the job, I thought I would save some for Sid and Sandra when they come out. It is so much fun.

When I left the house this afternoon, Judi was busy looking for signs of mice in the kitchen drawers. Quite a project.

KC's dog, Chevelle, is being sent to Germany. Quite an adventure for a young dog.

Diana, I tried adding a comment to your last entry. Did you check "Allow comments to this entry"?

Where is everybody?

I haven't seen any new entries lately, so I'm starting to wonder what is going on.... Mother, I did see your comment regarding hiking, however.

Tory called last night. It sounds like she is going to come down for the graduation/father's day extravaganza! She didn't know about Murray. Anyway, I guess our guest list is up to about 16. Amy and Dollen and her parents have a hotel in town, so although they will be eating with us, we will not have to pitch a tent to house everyone. Speaking of which, we do have a nice big tent if we end up needing one. I think we are fine. We only have 10 extra people as far as snoozing is concerned. Bopcha's town house can sleep 4-5 extra folks, and the farm can handle 3-4. Both Noah and Jessica have buddies in Corvallis they can stay with. And that's not counting all the available couches!

Well, back to work I go.

Going on a hike tomorrow

Bill and I are going to hike up the Wallace Falls trail tomorrow. It is a 6 mile round trip and a 1200 foot altitude gain. Should be a good workout. Kay is ditching us. She claims she's cleaning out her garage with Tiffany's help. I emailed M and T but didn't hear anything back. I assume they will be working. Noah is through with classes and has finals on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. He moves back home on Wednesday. He and a teammate are still planning a road trip, but they have not decided when. They begin July basketball on the 5th, I think it is, so they better get their thinking caps on.

Later,

Diana

Riddle

What grows by leaps and bounds? KC&Tom's dogs. 8 plus 4 plus l minus l plus 5!!!!! How many does that make? Oh, I forgot one. It is a little stray dog. I think that makes eighteen.

Do I scare you? They aren't all K&T's dogs, some are visitors and of course one is a stray that. just showed up. Now, what did I do to get this all scattered around.

\What a smashing picture of our new graduate!!!

The weather here is very warm and cloudy. Good-by everyone. I just can't make this work.
