Bopcha, I am impressed that you did not even get sore from all that wood loading. I don't think any of us could claim that we would not get sore.
Sid has really taken to buying things on sale. For the past week, he has been hitting these extreme sales, and buying up everything. I think at this point he could set up a sporting goods store.
I actually know someone who does just that. He is from the Dominican Republic. He buys products that are famous brand names in the US and then he sells them abroad. He and his wife are making some extra money. It's all set up and it is all legally sound etc....
Anyway, hope you are enjoying some nice weather in the Northwest. We have had some very nice days here. The night time cools off quite a bit.
Anyway that's it for now. I will write again soon.
Love,
Sandra
How are the little chicks doing. Too bad the kids didn't get to see the little baby chicks. They would have been thrilled.
I walked by the fence that Ricky Smith had built. It was very professional and very secure, I imagine, for the people who live inside the fence. It just puzzles me why they would want such a high fence around their yard. It is a lovely fence. Much nicer than what I have between my property and the neighbors.
I am so glad that Tina is better. I hope she realizes that there are better ways of handling her problems.
Diana, remember the yellow vine we saw on second street. It is called Passion Flower. Isn't that a pretty name for a pretty fruit? The lady in the house said that it was also good to eat, so I picked a couple and ate them. They were good.
To some of you who are not familiar with the Passion Flower, it has seeds like a Pomegranate but not as difficult to get to.
Today is gym day for me, tomorrow is repac day.
KC was on her way with two dogs yesterday. She was driving the van, and had left the Element with Tom. The dogs, Comet and Tornado, will be racing the next two weekends. Love, Bopcha
Will someone tell me what the number is on my cell phone. I'm aware of the 541 and the 1874 but what is the three numbers in between. I know, it is written on the back of my cell phone, but I would have to remove the leather cover.
The plumbing in the upstairs bathroom is now fixed (I think) (I hope). Anyway, the plumber has left, along with a check for $194. They were real nice, the plumber and his assistant.
I don't have any sore muscles from the work putting in the wood Saturday. I wonder if Diana has any sore muscles.
The wood is in the woodshed. Bill, Diana, Judi and I made quick work of getting it in and stacked in nice rows. It was finished in one and one-half hours. Sid, where do I get the one-half on my keyboard?
Kay went to visit Tina yesterday. She said Tina is improving. We all wish the best for her.
Bill and Diana arrived last night about 11 p.m. This morning they have disappeared, well not really, but are downtown I guess. I wanted them to go out to the farm this morning to put the wood in the woodshed. Maybe that sounded like too much work (just kidding).
