COLD - Brrrr.

Get ready Sid and Sandra -- we have -20 this morning with a very strong wind. When I say COLD I mean really REALLY COLD. We have all the hounds indoors and the furnace is working like one of the dogs at a national event, trying to keep the house at least up to 60 degrees inside. Hounds are comfy--we are too if we leave our snuggles on. Only a very light extremely dry snow has fallen--it's piling up in drifts in some parts. The rest is being blown toward Philly. Sorry folks back east--we didn't stop much of the precip. It's determined to dump on you. Luckily for Tory, who's flying down here for the weekend, the temps are suppose to return to normal by Friday.

Kay - you are doing wonderfully on your bike, but I'd just as soon they reserved roads for bikes when I'm out there pedaling.

Love to all. Shivering while I write.

Hi from the Trailer Park

Sorry Dee but I use every senior discount I can get but yep it must have hurt because you aren't there yet.

Well Sandra, I can sure understand the moving thing and glad it went so well. The only way around it is to buy a very small trailer (like me) where you really can't buy anything. Okay that is a lie, I put sticky hooks along one wall (over my coffee pot) to hold cups. Where there is a will, there is a way. However, it really does cut down A LOT on just how much stuff I can put in my mini home.

Glad we aren't having the Philadelphia weather. Yesterday was so nice, I cut the lawn. Today was nice but overcast but I did get in a bike ride and walk the dogs. Tomorrow, if I get brave, I am going to try and bike over to Judi's. It is really scary in the bike lanes as they look about one inch wide. Maybe with my helmet nobody will recognize me. Oh that's right, the first thing they see is my hinny - a total give away.

Max's (Judi's tenant) dog tangled with a pit bull and has an ugly wound running from shoulder to shoulder. He hasn't taken her to a vet yet but is keeping close watch. In case I haven't mentioned my feelings about unleashed dogs AND pit bulls. They are both on my hit list.

Got called for jury duty and was really excited. When I called the court this evening, I found out my service weren't needed after all. Drat. I even did a dry run today to find a parking spot and put out my best clothes (not jeans).

Signing off, Ramone is on my lap and he insists on putting his head on the keyboard. He tugs at my sleeves and or pant leg until I pick him up. Yep he is spoiled. Luis is a little better and not quite so needy.
