PICTURES

Nice pictures Dee. It is wonderful how much progress is being done on the garage. Rick is one hard worker.

Pictures

Wish it was me posting the pictures. However, I have no idea how one does that -- way, way beyond me. Camping with the Blakneys on the coast Saturday and most of Sunday.

pictures

I so enjoyed seeing pictures of the engagement party and Noah's move. Makes it all seem so much more real. Looks like everyone was having fun at the engagement party. Noah's place looks really comfortable.

Tory

Just when I think life can't get anymore exciting, Tory blows it off the map. Congratulations. We will all stay posted for the date of the nuptials.

Murray hope you got pictures and so glad you are safe. Post pics to blog when you can.

Went out to farm today and all is well. Walked to the creek and it is up a bit.

Still have good days and bad days with my cold. Yesterday not so good so I went over to Judi's for tea and to whine. Isn't she the luckiest sister to get the opportunity to hear me whine and moan. The rest of you sibs be glad you live out of town. Poor Judi.

Noah

Way to go Noah. I am so glad that you stopped and helped this poor woman and she is really, really lucky that you came along. Chances are he would have come after her and finished the job if you hadn't rescued her. Good going.

Hey family look at that picture and tell me it isn't a Delk. Actually Dee the picture turned out better than I would have thought.

Beautiful pictures of the wedding site in the snow. Looking forward to seeing our girl tie the knot. Next one up -- my guess is Tory.

Mere is still hooked up to an IV but every day is one more closer to the finish line.

Cleaned out closets yesterday and taking a ton of throw pillows to Goodwill. I have a thing for slip covers, throw rugs and throw pillows. Do not ask me why but if I don't get rid of some of them soon, you will see me on Hoarders.

Pretty cold here today (as everywhere). Put the dogs in their sweaters for yesterday's walk and might do the same today if it every warms up a tad. A former brother-in-law (Kenny Parker) recently bought a house in Bartow, Florida and if this cold keeps up, I might just pay him a visit. Actually he has back to back company -- Randy and Marcella are there now and then Randy's sister Charlotte and her husband will follow. Plus, who can afford the gas.

May is coming, May is coming, May is coming. Looking forward to the wedding and also seeing all my wonderful sibs.

Early Christmas Dinner

Dee and Bill did an early Christmas Dinner for Judi, me, Susan, Gill & Paige. It was a wonderful fun filled meal. We were kept warm by the heat from Tory's heater and drank lots of wonderful coffee from KC & Tom's gift.

While waiting for people to arrive we saw two deer in the orchard. One had a lot of dark coloring in his coat. So while driving home, I wondered if it was a deer crossed with an elk. Which, I think, would be a Delk. D as in dog and then elk. Right? Anyway, while coming to this brilliant conclusion, I was hoping to not hit any deer or said Delk.

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope your day is warm and filled with many memory making moments.

Love to you all. Kay

Picture

Okay that is just freaky. A lot of polish genetics going on in that picture (besides the names). Went to the farm today and creek is up and house is intact. No sign of any animals other than lots of deer prints in the field. Even my little ratter dogs found nothing.

Monday

Wow you two did work. It also looks like you cleaned up the apples in the orchard.

Please let us know what you find out about that hole. It is a little frightening.

Walked the dogs to the creek and it is rolling right along. The bridge is okay but would not want to fall in the creek without a life jacket. Saw no animals but did see some pretty impressive deer tracks in the field.

My very expensive eye med seems to be working on the exzema. And the bug that put me down seems to have subsided. Pretty sure it wasn't the flu but have no idea what it was.

Pictures

Wonderful pictures Dee. I want your sweater and Loretta's sweater. Everyone looks so good and can't believe how big Violet is. Rain and wind getting ready to come this way Wednesday and Thursday -- just in time for the Blakney's trip to the farm.

Farm

Great pictures. I have no idea where Griffith Creek is -- maybe that was one of the ones I tried to cross when the dogs and I were lost a few years ago.

My driveway is pretty flooded. I don't think the storm drains were ready for the downpour.

Dee

The scar isn't as bad as I was afraid it would be. Can you put reading glasses on your nose yet?

Drove up to Marys Peak today in the hopes of seeing deer, coyote or bear and saw absolutely nothing except a van parked almost in the road a short distance from the top. I got out of my car and hollered to see if anybody was around or needed help and got no response so have no idea what happened.

Spending Thanksgiving with Tina and crew. Making it a short trip because I will have to kennel the dogs.

Dee

Wow that does look amazing. I see why you are working from home. I would have said auto accident. Glad they were able to remove all of the cancer. I am assuming they numbed your face to the bone OR did they put you out?

Eyes

Sid that is wonderful news on the old eyeball. Hope you get the same results with the second eye.

I don't usually feel old but today I do. I went to the denturist for the final reline on my bottom dentures and after they did the mold, he came back in and said I'll see you back at 11:30. Do you know what that meant, I had to go out in public and drive home with no bottom teeth. Do you know how horrible that was. I must admit I did the drive from the denture place on Kings Blvd to the inside of my trailer in record time. I cannot believe I had to face the world without all my teeth -- now that made me feel really, really old.

So glad the storm didn't wipe you out. I thought I heard there was another storm coming in but not sure where or when.

Went out to the farm yesterday and drank in the colors. Didn't see any turkeys or deer.

Once my toothys are all back in my head, I will walk the dogs.

One of the people I have seen at the park walking her hunting dogs for the last few years recently showed up with only one. The other dog has developed heart problems and there is nothing they can do so she just trys to walk it around the yard and keep it calm. She mentioned that a few years ago one of her dogs was running at the park and died of a heart attack. Like all animal people she is really attached to her dogs. I thought of KC and Tom when I heard of the heart problem. I told her about my sister and her husband and all their Borzois and how they knew each and everyone on a personal level.

Storm

Sid and Sandra we will be watching the storm and thinking about you. Theresa and Nick are in Virginia and are also stocking up on supplies.

NOW doesn't the farm look really great. We are getting rain but see nothing else bad on the horizon.

My allergies are in overdrive so I changed filters in the furnace and then thought that just possibly I should remove and clean the floor vents in the trailer. Okay, so they might have been just a bit dirty.

Pictures

Great pictures Sid. How is the eye doing. I hope you get the kind of results that Dee did. Keep us posted on the eyes.

Okay Dee we will be watching as the wedding plans develop. This will be so exciting.

Got a call from BofA about a couple of possible fraudulent charges on my bank account. Well yes indeed there were. So, now I need to file paperwork to get the money reimbursed to my account and I am temporarily without a debit card because they close that down instantly. I am really glad they were on it so fast but what a miserable way to start off a Sunday.

I swear I see a lot of grey in Tom's whiskers.

Nikole and Tory better come back with loads of pictures.
