From Kay, not Diana
Took the dogs to the farm today and saw a deer with her fawn in the field. Going back through Philomath (at the wooded area between the 2 roads) I saw two deer and two fawns. The cars in front of me slowed way down because the deer were almost in the road. One of the little fawns just watched everyone. I so hope that they went back into the trees and some stupid driver didn't take them out.
Have a pot roast with carrots and potatoes going for dinner. Earlier I put the roast on and checked on it an hour later and realized my crock pot was dead, dead, dead. Went to Kmart and picked up another inexpensive one. Tomorrow, I will take some of the left overs and make mini pot pies for the freezer. However,if the potatoes don't get done soon, I am going to chew my leg off.
Had coffee with Judi earlier and she treated me to a slice of cherry pie she made from the cherries in her yard. Of course we had ice cream with the pie. It was really good.
