Memorial Day

Didn't Memorial Day used to be on the 30th of the month? Now my week will be all messed up because I will go to the Pleasant Valley cemetery and pay my respects in private on the 30th.



Yesterday was a constant drizzle of rain although it was somewhere around 50 degrees. Today in late afternoon the sun finally broke through. Boy, are things really going to grow!



I am looking forward to some pictures of the new puppies that KC brought back from Texas.

She says they are pretty. Three males and one female.

Kay and Steph and Bill and I tried to go on a hike today. We drove to the trail head and it was pouring rain, so we went back into the little town of Sultan and had a nice lunch. Then we went to the Reptile Museum (which, for some reason, is way out in the boondocks) and saw all kinds of horrible snakes and alligators. Eeeeeeeek! Kay was in hog heaven.
