A fabulous day on the Island ...

Hello all,

We had so-o-o-o much fun this last weekend! Thank you everybody for showing us such a good time with hikes, laughter, and great food.

Noah's computer (the laptop) came back repaired today. It was freezing up on Noah, so we got it fixed. Somehow the fix destroyed some memory, but it should be OK for school work. The computer guy recommended against ever getting a Celeron processor ever again.

The minute I walked into work I got the news that the plaintiffs in one of my cases decided to give up and voluntarily dismiss their case. Wow! Sadly, I had to spend lots of time preparing and filing a motion to dismiss before they got focused on what a STUPID case they had. Sometimes that is just the way it goes. I had literally begged them to do so earlier, but they didn't. They waited until the day their responsive brief was due to decide to give up. Oh well, the School District is really happy and, once again, justice triumphed!
