The highlight of my birthday
Hello Everyone,
The highlight of my birthday was definitely when I came home and found your really really sweet heartfelt messages. It was especially welcome after a crazy day at work. Work has been truly insane this week, just in time for my birthday.
Thanks so much for cheering me up. You guys are the best!
It was really nice to have Diana and Bill around. My only complaint is that they took the nice Northwest breeze with them. It has been super hot and humid, and the only way you can not feel sick is to sit in the air conditioning.
My office yesterday had no air conditioning. Luckily, I was out at New Bolton Center, (the large animal hospital) and was spared the pain. But my office mate called me to tell me that she sweated pounds off by just sitting in her office and working.
Diana, I loved the pictures you sent. The little girls (your nieces) are so so cute. Very nice looking children indeed, I'm sure they are a handful.
Diana and Bill got to meet the lizards that Nina and Alex are so proud of. Now I am sure that was the highlight of their trip to the East Coast!
How about the Beavers' victory. We all sat and watched the game on Sunday night while indulging in various treats. Definitely good timing to have Beaver fans around while that game was on. It is always much more enjoyable to watch the game with company.
Hope everyone is enjoying summer so far. And again thanks for the birthday wishes. I truly appreciated them.
