Yes, I have taken on the New Year, too!

I am taking on the New Year with gusto. Here's the evidence:

1) I put wheat germ on my cereal this morning.

2) I did my 40 minute walk (including 7 minutes of stairs) with my friend Diane at 10 a.m.

3) I did not sneak home and take a nap at 11:30 even though I wanted to.

4) I have already had 4 glasses of water and am working on the final 4.

Tonight Bill and I are going to Mercer Island's basketball game against a tough competitor in the competitor's gym. Gavin (who, as most of you know by now is JB's boyfriend and the offensive coordinator for the Islanders) is nervous about the game.

Noah leaves for Vegas tomorrow morning to help a high school friend celebrate his 21st birthday. Brandon (the soon to be 21 year old) runs track and cross-country for the University of Michigan. Brandon's dad is a fellow Beaver. Alex (who goes to Univ. of Wash. and is another high school friend) is going with Noah. Think they'll have fun???

Jess is working away selling extravagent clothes to the beautiful people of Seattle. She was pretty tired yesterday -- she had to get to work at nine thirty after being out until 3 a.m. celebrating the New Year. Being a trooper, she was up and on time, however groggy she may have been.

Back to work!
