Resolutions
Resolutions have always been tough for me, until this past year when I actually wrote them down. I also kept track (in a really simple way) of significant events. I was having such a hard time keeping track of things that keeping a list on the computer that I could look at any time I wanted seemed to be the best way to go. So, one of my resolutions is to start a new list for 2008. At the top of my list are my resolutions for this year are:
Visit Bop
Improve health
Establish an LLC for Zoiboyz
Get a paying job in Colorado Springs
Keep my resolutions
(And of course, maintain my personal 2008 history)
Last year, my "personal" section of my list included the following:
Graduated NDU IRMC with EA Certificate and honor graduate, April 2007
Worked for AFRICOM Transition Team 3 April to 30 June 2007
Worked for USSTRATCOM J823 starting 23 July 2007
Served as show photographer at RMBC Fall Specialty 2007
Served as unofficial photographer at Borzoi Blast Off
Served as field secretary at RMBC JC tests (1st weekend)
Got Windstar's bumper crunched in Warrenton MO
Got warning for speed in MO
Got warning for LF headlamp outage in NE
Advised contract will end on 15 Jan 07, revised to 1 March 2008
Offered possible job at JFCC GSI/J2 in Omaha, starting next year
Certified on Joint Command and Control (JC2) Architecture and Capability Assessment Enterprise (JACAE)
Got my article on Ambassador selected for publication in "Being Borzoi"
Got my article on Ambassador published in European Borzoi magazine
I also keep track of Tom's events (as I see them) and family/friends events as well, plus of course, dog-related stuff. I also keep track of who we visited and who visited us during the year. I'll do better on keeping track of events this year, now that I have a protocol set up and habit established. I might even add other categories such as travel accomplished, books read, movies seen, new friends made, etc. It was lots of fun to look over the list at the end of the year.
Love, KC
