From Diana

It is a little after 8:00 a.m. and I am sitting at Bopcha's computer. it is pretty slick! I was able to remote access my office computer and check emails, copy documents onto the office network, and generally see what was happening while I was gone. This will come in very handy in the event I stay beyond this weekend.

KC relayed the news about Bopcha correctly. She looked really good yesterday evening. She's excited about her surgery, pleased with her hospitalist doctor and thrilled with her orthopedic doctor. Judi gives passing grades to both also (and she has a minor crush on the orthopedist who looks like Dr. Welby, apparently).

Today we will find out if Bopcha's blood is thickening enough to schedule the surgery sooner rather than later. We will also ask the doctor why they sonogramed Bopcha's neck.

Judi and I met Susan at the Fox and Firkin after visiting Bopcha. We picked her nurse's brain about compression fractures and generally chomped on hot wings and had a little beer (Judi had Kaluha). Then we came back to the house and followed the Redhawk game against its cross-town rival, Seattle Pacific. The Redhawks lost by 4.

I thought I might be scared staying here alone, but I slept so soundly I didn't even get a chance. I barely got through 3 pages of my book before I passed out.

Love to all,

Judi and I are headed to the hospital at nine, so I'd better get dressed.

PS KC, that photo of the leaping Borzoi is absolutely amazing!!!!!!! I really, really like it.
