Today is Repack

This morning I will pick up Cheryl and drive to Tangent. Then we will put a plastic apron on, a net cover for our hair, and sit around a table. Our job on repack day is to open plastic bags so that the people who refill them will not have to struggle to get them opened. They will fill them with a day's supply of frozen food: potatoes, broccili, pasta, beans that are dried, beans that are green, peas, lentils, cauliflower--vegetables all prepared to just cook when the recipients take them home. After two hours of opening plastic bags, we will have a potluck and THEN there is a drawing for prizes!



So that is my schedule for today.
