Back to the Grind
Hello everyone,
Wow, what a really nice time we had in Oregon. It was so much fun to have a chance to hang out with everyone- all the sisters, Bopcha and Sid. It is always so intersting for me to see everyone together in one place. It seems like the B-day activities worked out so well. It was perfect weather and I also got to witness - first hand - Judy's preparatory efforts. I am not so sure there could be many people who could pull it off to the extent that she did without a "sous chef" so to speak. In the days before the party, Judy was pretty much just buried under pots and all kinds of cooking utensils trying to get it all done. The best part is that she did pull all together. It was really good, as I am sure we all agree.
It was so great to celebrate Diana's b-day and I can't think of nicer person to go all out for.
One of the highlights of the weekend of course was Sid's journey to the Hospital for the bee sting. That was certainly an alarming experience and one that shook us all up for a while. KC was right on top of it and realized immediately that we needed to take Sid's sting very seriously and get him professional help. I think Sid is still having a hard time believing that he may be allergic to bees:0
So if any of you can think of any other event that would give him the medical reaction that he had, I am sure he is glad to hear those opinions. Not sure any of us will be able to figure that one out. Come to think of it, I think we can rule out most other causes, bee or wasp sting is a likely culprit.
I am really looking foward to seeing KC's photos, I am sure they will be spectacular. I wish I had some of KC's photography skills, which would allow me to get some really artistic shots of Oregon. It is such a great place to photograph. I really need to learn to be a better photographer. There is so much to learn. If only we all did not have to work for a living, we could all spend time doing things we really want to do. For example, I am sure Diana would spend every waking moment learning guitar
I will write a little more later.
Best wishes to all!
Sandra
