Based upon Bop's suggestion, Tom and I saw Crank this afternoon. We were determined to be among the first to review it, seeing as how we are only about 3 steps removed from knowing its writer and director (presuming all the Taylors mentioned in the credits were the correct Taylor and were one and the same) Specifically: we know Dee (1) who knows Gil (2) whose son (3) did the movie).



The movie--well, was VERY original and we really got into it after the initial shock. It's really quite quite different. Reminded me a little of the movie "Get Shorty." It had that same really lovely flavor to it.



Can't wait til the real reviews come out. I think it will be a surprise hit.
