New Puppies for the New Year

Well - Tom and I managed to spend our New Year's Day by getting up in the wee hours and zipping 750 miles down to Texas, picking out and up our puppies, and then zipping back, arriving back at the ranch safe and sound. Saturday was sunny and relatively warm, so the puppies had a grand time exploring their new home. Today we have a couple inches of snow and temps in the teens, so we send them out in 20 minute intervals and then an hour back inside. It's making for many many trips up and down the stairs. They are so tiny, it's amazing how those sacks and sacks of dog foodwill ultimately turn into solid, beautiful, and athletic hounds. We are trying to sell them of course, but we are enjoying the pleasure of their company every moment.

Here's our little Zoiboyz Durango, making a corner around Sherita's legs.

This is Zoiboyz Denver taking dead aim on the plastic. He really looks athletic in this picture because--no surprise--he is

Tom's holding Zoiboyz Dillon. He's named after a small town in the mountains on I-70. You will drive by it if you come out here from the west, presuming you come through the mountains.

This is the only little girl we got. Her name is Zoiboyz Dove Creek--or maybe Zoiboyz Derby, or possibly Zoiboyz Delta, or???? We simply cannot decide. All the puppies will be named after a Colorado city or country that begins with a D. There are several nice ones that fit a girl puppy nicely.
