Limbs down - Sigh!

Yesterday, Bill discovered that two of the three or four trunks to this tree had simply broken off at their base. This is the biggest one.




On its way down, the tree took out a branch from a nearby aspen.




Here's the base of the tree. Hmmmm... how in the world did that happen?
