Wednesday

Okay, I now have a couple of potential husbands in my scope. (I joke). One widower lives next to me - a retired logger. Across the street from me and down a few trailers is another widower - and retired logger. Did I or did I not leave Tiller. If you have any questions about chippers just be sure and ask me. Also, do you have any idea how hard it is to end a conversation with a lonely old retired logger. I was talking to the one down the street and actually ended up backing up the street still nodding to his ongoing conversation. That was after 45 minutes of listening to logging stories and all the things he did to his mobile when he moved in 19 years ago and then something about his first wife, his second wife, his operations, his girl friend that used to live across the street, blah, blah, blah. Oh and the fact that he disliked the guy that I bought the trailer from (I'm thinking its because he had a lot of girlfriends).

They just hauled a single wide out of here and it is headed up state somewhere. It was interesting to see what all they did before hauling it away - actually an all day job.

We had quite a wind blow through yesterday and it managed to knock over my plants, ornaments on the tongue of the trailer and other quite lovely things I have laying about. The horns over the door survived.

I have got to tell you that poor Murray's birthday letter is doomed. I sent it out in plenty of time for his birthday - it came back. I emailed Nikole and found out that I had transposed some numbers. Put that envelope inside of another envelope with the correct address and sent it back out - yesterday it came back but it was only the first envelope which had apparently fallen out of the second envelope (which I had taped at the back). This has now turned into a matter of honor and it is going out again even if I have to staple it into an envelope.
