Saturday

The poem was great and what a keepsake for him and something wonderful to pass on to his children.

Bopcha and I went to the sulpher springs yesterday and today I decided to get brave and try and find it on my own. Thank goodness I did find it because yesterday was the second time that Bopcha had to take me because I couldn't remember how to get there. I would have been very embarrassed to ask again. There is a bridge and hiking trail at the springs so the dogs and I decided to take a hike regardless of the bear and cougar posting. The sun is out and the birds were at their best - we had a great time but walking back down I saw a smaller sign with the name of the trail and on it someone had written below the name of the trail the words "Cougar Trail." That did not make me feel secure as I took it as a sign that some other hikers had spotted a cougar.

Somebody in this park owns a Harley or something similar and the noise of that bike really annoys me. I am thinking about letting the air out of his tires. This is an old grouchy people park - tred lightly.
