Monday morning

Well graduation is behind us. Thanks Dee for posting the pics. I did the same thing at Steph's graduation that I did at her wedding - at her wedding I cried as soon as the music started and she walked down the aisle - at her graduation, I cried as soon as I saw her file in with the rest of the grads. I swear I am one big faucet.

Most of my crew (except for Randy) got to visit briefly with Bopcha and Sid. By the time we got to Bopcha's everyone was worn out and feet were hurting. As always, Bop was a great hostess and they enjoyed there short visit and pictures were taken. It must horrify poor Bopcha to see how old her great grandchildren are. Jonathan loved seeing her garden spaces and the grape vine. He also loved walking around the farm and asking the name of various flowers (where was Bopcha and/or Judi when I needed them). Some of us walked the lower fields and Crystal, Nathan, Christopher and Tiffany all went out in the Ranger. Those of us in the field could hear the girls screaming before we would see the Ranger. They really made a memory at the farm. Judi cooked a great meal and we all ate like it was the last supper (except for the cook). Everyone has gone home and is back at work.

I am headed off to pick up my dogs at the kennel and purchase a birthday present for my granddaughter Crystal. I am think of making up a tee shirt with a picture of a chicken that says "Chickens Rule." She is not a great chicken lover and while at the farm we went in the chicken yard so she could see the baby mice that reside under a large piece of plywood. She came with her camera and Steph was there and she was oohing about the cute mice when a baby chicken ran up and snatched one and ran off with it. Crystal started screaming and the next thing I know STephanie is chasing the chicken around the pen trying to get it to release the mouse. I was laughing so hard, I could not stand up. When she finally cornered the chicken and it dropped the mouse we could see the mouse was not going to survive. The people in the farmhouse could hear Crystal screaming and Steph yelling at the chicken. Poor Crystal absolutely dissolved in tears for the poor baby mouse. Another traumatic family memory made.

Was sorry to hear the hearing aide wouldn't work but really upset about the eardrum. Kind of makes me want to slap the person who did it to her.

Sid and Bopcha than you for the food delivery yesterday. Yep, some of it went immediately into my crockpot.
