Reno

Can you imagine that, they were leaving me stranded in Reno. I walked to the Amtrak Station on Friday to see what my options were because I was still sure they could bus me around the slide area. Going down we to the train to Eugene, bused to Klamath Falls and then back on a train from KFalls to Sacramento. I changed trains in Sacramento and went to Reno. Wouldn't you think they would do that in reverse. The Agent also thought so but when he called whoever, they said no provisions had been made for the return part of the trip and the track would be out until February. I asked what he thought I should do and he suggested calling Southwest Airlines. I considered going Greyhound and gave that up very quickly so I flew back on Saturday via Southwest. P.S. the first night in the hotel, the fire alarm went off 3 times. I think it was a malfunction. It gave us all a scare and the opportunity to meet in the hall in all stages of undress.

Going through the Sierra Nevadas on the train was absolutely beautiful with all the snow. The whole trip down even with the bus was very nice and Reno was fun. The mountains surrounding Reno were snow covered and beautiful. A nice trip once I realized I would get home.

For a birthday present, Tiffany cleaned up the house. That was very nice.

Christopher cut his thumb to the bone and severed a tendon. He has already had surgery and hopefully is doing okay.

I have a pork roast in the crock pot so my baby girl Tiffany will have something to eat when she gets off shift.

Sounds like the Rambo movie is good so guess I will put it on my list.
